Having passed his Godan (5th Dan) in 1988, Bill is one of the longest serving members of the UK Bujinkan community. Having travelled to Japan, Sweden, France and many other countries to increase his knowledge he now holds the rank of Judan Fugyo Happo Biken (14th Dan) and is one of the more talented of the Bujinkan Shihan.
